Here I am already writing another post a day after I said I would be seen less frequently around here. Well, I decided after working for about six hours already I could spare myself just a little bit of time to say something I'd like to say:
What you got from me yesterday was pure ventilation and pure emotion. I was already in a pissy mood because of problems with the relocation company who is supposed to be reimbursing me for some of my moving costs (they haven't) and my insurance company who claims they aren't going to pay for the annual gyno visit (they will, so help me God). I wrote that post about an hour after I got off the phone with a boss and once I'd stopped myself from crying the first time around (tears came several more times in the day). I'm not going to say it's not nearly as bad as I thought it was this time yesterday. It still sucks. But I do feel like I'll work things out and get back into the good graces of the people who authorize my paycheck twice a month.
That's mostly because of y'all. I wrote that post because I needed to get it off my chest, not because I was looking for comfort from y'all. But comfort is exactly what I got in the form of comments, e-mails, text messages and phone calls. Anything in the world seems easier when you've got such an army of support behind you. I cannot even begin to show you how good your kind words have made me feel today. All I can simply do is say thank you and hope that I can return the favor some day.
Like I said yesterday, I'm not going on break. I'm just not promising to post every day and can't spend as much time reading and commenting on other blogs. I am still checking up on y'all when I need to take a mental break. You've heard this from others: just because you don't see my name among the comments doesn't mean I'm not paying attention.
Anyway, thank you again. When I find myself having to defend blogging as an activity, I often point to the anywhere, anytime relationships I have with my Modern Friends as why blogging isn't some frivilous, narcissistic activity. Y'all support me in good times and bad. This is why I blog.

Glad to be of service. :-)
Oh god...the stress of posting every day would kill me. Let's remember, blogging isn't our ONLY priority.
Yes, I'm a new reader but I'm still going to pretend like I know what's going on. Mainly so you won't think I'm a bloggy slut :)
Not one of us requires you to blog every day. That's the beauty of it. It's here when you can post and will wait when you can't. Why add one more thing to stress about? Hang in there!
You know that all of us are here and looking forward to what you have to say. That means writing once a week or once every few days. We just like your opinion on things and it doesn't matter how often that is. Let this be something you enjoy and not a chore.
I am just now getting caught up on my blog reading, but what you describe is exactly why I love the blogosphere.
