My roomie and I are in the process of trying to get our new old house in good enough shape to house two gals and all of their belongings. But you know old houses and their creative interpretations of closet space and all that. I spent all Sunday trying to hang shelves in what will eventually be my closet. (I've hung a number of shelves in my time, but closet shelves are the absolute worst.)
Anyway, I think I've mentioned it before, but Real Simple has some great resources on its website for home organizing tips. There are links for every room in the house, plus featured tips and articles. I shall be consulting it with regularity over these next couple of weeks as I'm trying to find a place for all of my things. That is, if I ever get those things in boxes and over to the new house.

"Creative interpretations of closet space." That's a very diplomatic way of putting it. :)
you are a much more proactive renter than I am!! I usually just move in and dont bother to adapt what I am stuck with. I am lazy and cheap in that way. You are better!.
Also, I really think you should check out that free adult entertainment in that comment above me, mate.

Oh hell. I meant to delete that earlier when it came into my inbox. Thanks for the reminder.
My desire to be organized borders on unhealthy. I'm thinking about harnessing it and turning it into a second career somehow.
