I was never too good at math, but I still kind of liked studying it because there was always a definitive answer to whatever problem you were solving. The math discipline I excelled the most at was geometry because it was so visually oriented and it actually involved some words (does anyone remember postulates and theorems? Words and math blended together!)
New Math by Craig Damrauer really excited the supernerd within the Modern Gal by doing word math out of concepts. They're like mindbenders.
For example: Sanity = Everyone else's crazy / Mine
And don't forget Indexed, an old favorite with a similar concept.

I don't believe in math. :) Okay, that's not true. I believe in Math, I just don't like it. I'll have to check this out. I feel that I could use a re-education in this area.
Ha! I didn't really get it until I went to the site. That is genius and funny. My favorite one so far:
Car Jacking = Can I borrow your
car - no you can't.
I always hated math but loved geometry. It was the only numbers class I excelled in.
New Math is pure genius! What a great find. Have you seen Just Watch the Sky? Each page illustrates a song lyric, using the typography of that lyric. And, of course, includes an audio clip of the song.
