Being healthy and living more cheaply are two things I've definitely had on my mind in recent months.
Bethenny Frankel -- the natural food chef turned Real Housewife of NYC -- has a great list of ways to buy healthy foods on the cheap.
Also on Health.com, praise for 10 supermarket chains that do the best job of promoting healthy foods. Quite a few of the stores I used to shop at when I lived in other cities made the list, but unfortunately the only one that exists in my current hometown is Super Target. While I love the Super Tar-J, it's a long, long drive from my house and always obnoxiously crowded. Le sigh.

That list of cheap healthy foods is great.
I'm sad our local grocery chain didn't make the list. They are pretty great, if a little on the pricey side. But they may not be a big enough chain.
I started portioning out my food instead of just filling my enormous bowls. And the result? My boxes of cereal last longer than a week! Thanks for the links.
Thanks for the list. I was just going to google something like this.
For realsies, they should build a Target on this side of town.
I noticed that there wasn't a lot to choose from when we lived there too. It is a shame. You just have to try and do the fresh food thing (yet it is very time consuming).
Super Target is great too though.
I'm good at eating healthy, but damn those grocery bills are getting hefty!
