I used to be a more dedicated movie fanatic than I have been lately. I tend to dedicate what little free time I have to one activity and that one activity seems to rotate between movies, tv and reading and right now I seem to be stuck with my nose in a book.
Still, I have a profound love of movies and can rattle off my favorites to you with no problem (much more easily than I can my favorite music). There are a couple of filmmakers that I'm especially dedicated to. I'll see anything Woody Allen puts in front of me, and I've loved everything the Coen Brothers have ever made.
I've been anxiously awaiting the premier of Burn After Reading, but I didn't have time to see it this weekend. In the mean time, I'm trying to decide whether this ranking of the Coens' top movies by Pop Crunch is debatable. I've never seen Blood Simple, so I can't make a call on that, but I do fall into the group who loves O, Brother and would move it up a slot or two.

Burn after reading was fantastic!
Lisa and I saw Burn After Reading this weekend. I loved it, she hated it. It was one more in a seemingly neverending line of movies we can't agree on.
I can't wait to see Burn After Reading.
We saw Vicky Christina Barcelona over the weekend. It had it's moments. This woman collapsed in the row behind us 10 minutes from the end (and us and the woman from that row were the only people who did anything about it). By the time we helped her out and sat down again, the movie was just ending and we were like - huh? That was it? What happened? But I don't know that it had as much to do with the movie as it did the event.
Also, Woody's Scarlett obsession makes me a little uncomfortable, I think.
I cannot wait to go see Burn After Reading. All the rain and flooding prevented us from getting out to see it this weekend, but soon.
Burn After Reading is on my list too. The Coen brothers? Fantastic!
I mostly agree with the list, but I think The Big Lebowski should be No. 1. It's my favorite.
Also, I thought Burn After Reading was only okay. Actually I'd rank it down there with Intolerable Cruelty -- not bad, but not great either.
Man, the Coens are really something, huh?!
This list makes me want to have a Coen brothers marathon.
I really enjoyed Burn After Reading. It was quite the crazy movie.
