I lost another pound this week, which seems to indicate the law of diminishing returns: First I dropped 1.8 pounds, then 1.4, now just 1. I have to keep reminding myself that the scale IS GOING IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION HERE.
So the official tally is:
-minus 4.2 pounds since the start of Weight Watchers
-minus about 7.9 pounds since I started keeping track
I had really wanted to get my star for losing a total of five pounds, but I guess that will come next week.
I'm starting to hit that mental wall where I'm tired of counting all my points and really just want to pig out the whole weekend. And I'll likely have lots of opportunity to, as the Modern Beau and friends will have successfully completed the bar exam (yay! I get my boyfriend back) and plan to drown their sorrows and joys in food and booze. Not to mention I have the craptastic distinction of having to work on Saturday and Sunday, which makes me want to drown my own sorrows.
So if you've got any extra will power to spare, please send it over this way. I could sure put it to good use.

If I'd spelled cyberspace right, that would have been better. ;)
You will be too busy working to even thinking about eating a cupcake!
You go girly. You should be WAY proud of yourself.
4 lbs is great though. I still haven't gotten out to buy a digital scale, but I've been eating a lot better and ran twice this week so that's better than the past year. Just keep going!
Every loss is a good week, you know you can do it. Think, you've already used your free pass up so you know you need to get on those scales again next week. You will lose weight next week because you will pig out in a good way, by counting the 210 calories in a choc-ice and skipping that last glass of wine.
You can do this x
Well done. As you said to me, it's all about one step at a time.
Treat yourself this weekend but treat yourself in moderation.
Go go go MG. We can do this :)
Congrats on everything! The weight loss and return of your boyfriend area all worth celebrating, just don't go overboard. Good luck with it all and I will be sending will power and positive thoughts your way.
