I've been getting enough feedback on the posts about my weight loss plan to know that there's quite a few of you out there who are trying to make some changes about the way you either eat or exercise or both.
For those of you who are members of the 2osomethingbloggers website, I've created a new group to serve as a forum to talk about our efforts and share tips and stories. You can access the group here. You don't have to be doing Weight Watchers, you just need to be making a commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Since I've already (jokingly) been accused of age discrimination by doing this on 20somethingbloggers, I encourage one of the 30somethingbloggers members to do the same thing! I just thought 20sb would be a good way to talk about challenges in maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a 20-something.
Don't feel pressured to join, just join if you want a support group!

MG, just throwin' it out there -- I started a meat-free diet in February, and it has been the most effective way to lose weight.
I'm not considered overweight -- I'm
I still eat fish, but by avoiding the hormones in meat and going for soy dairy options whenever I can (I still need my cheese, though), I have permanently lost about 5% of my weight and KEPT IT OFF CONSISTENTLY.
It helped me and my friends a lot -- so much that another one of my friends has recently decided to go veggie as well -- so it might be something worth trying! :-)
I'm going to blog about it soon on Kate's Adventures if you want to check it out.
Hmm, is there really a 30 something blogger's group?
Kate: Thanks for the suggestions. Several others have written about how well that's worked for them. I definitely plan to cut down on my meat consumption (which won't be hard cause I don't eat that much anyway), but I don't know that I can cut it completely out. Maybe I'll try it for a week to see how well I can keep up. Just make sure you get plenty of protein!

30SB is really quiet though :'(
Weight loss goodness is the future of ladies everywhere
I agree with Lizsara, 30SB is quiet! I've tried WW in the past and it worked for me. I lost about 35 pounds. Now I just try to eat healthy and I weigh myself every day to see quickly if I'm getting off track. Good luck and keep us posted.
