Now that I've regained control of THE remote control, I'm looking forward to once again watching TV shows that I want to watch.
The problem is, since I've been living in bachelorland for the past 10 months, my knowledge of what's on TV has waned. I've been subjected to a lot of Two and a Half Men reruns (not a bad show) and don't think I've seen any Bravo programming since the Real Housewives of NYC wrapped up.
So, Modern Friends, I ask you since you've never let me down before. What should I be watching right now? Kathy Griffin's My Life on the D-List is definitely on tap -- don't judge, KG and I are plotting ways to have Kathy hire us for Team Griffin. I'm also considering trying My Boys again, although after loving season one I had a hard time watching the second season (PJ have something particular in common, and I think they do a bad job of portraying that something on the show and it bugs me). What else is out there?
P.S. With the move out of the Modern Beau's house I lost TiVo in my life so bonus points for shows that air after 7 p.m. Eastern.

Whenever I come across The Big Bang Theory on Monday nights I watch it. It's hilarious.
ALSO! A new one: In Plain Sight. It's cool.
Yes, Big Bang Theory! Ugly Betty, too.
And Ninja Warrior on G4. Entirely entertaining. I could spend hours.
You could also try G4's Unbeatable Banzuke, though I like Ninja Warrior better.
Oh, I love Big Bang Theory!
I haven't been watching much b/c we don't have cable and it's rerun season. Although we do watch a ridiculous amount of PBS.
I've been watching TV series on DVD. We just saw season 3 of Weeds and are now watching this season online as we go. And I'm watching season 1 of The Tudors. Awesome. And hoping the next season of Big Love comes out on DVD soon.
Mark me down as another vote for "Big Bang Theory."
Kathy's been good so far -- if you missed her trip to St. Louis last week ... Well, it's on Bravo. You know they'll play it again.
I'm a sucker for actiony stuff, like "Burn Notice." (I think it helps to fill the void that "Alias" left behind a few years ago.) The new season starts soon, and it's on USA so yes, they're running repeats of season 1 regularly now.
Oh! And "Psych" -- love it. Funny and dorky, so what's not to love?
As for "My Boys," I got into it last year, but it's not really holding my interest this year. Although after I get rich off of this journalism thing? My plan is to open a bar like Crowley's. I've been to similar bars -- so much fun!
I got so excited I forgot about 2 of my *favorite* shows. Probably because they haven't been on lately. But I'm hoping "Chuck" and "Heroes" return very soon.
I only watch shows on DVD, with the exception of "Lost," "Battlestar Galactica" and "Pushing Daisies." That last one is the only one you can probably jump on to without having seen all the previous episodes.
OMG, new show on last night for the first time, absolutely hysterical, it's call Wipeout and it's basically a take off on all those crazy Japaneses game shows. You must check out the previews on ABC.com
I just found your blog, and I will be back again, as I, too, am a huge fan of Kathy Griffin's show!!
Also, there's a show called Ace of Cakes on Food Network--it's awesome!
I <3 Psych and Monk. And Dexter. And My boys. And Modern Marvels. And Dirty Jobs.
Okay. I'm done. I'm sorry.
I love Californication which I think comes back next month on Showtime but thats my only Must See. I also am pretty big on Denise Richard's reality show but then again its really garbage tv perfect for a Sunday.
Oh! I can't believe I didn't mention Battlestar and Heroes! Battlestar is pretty much the best show I've ever seen, and I don't even think I'm overselling it. And I never thought I liked sci fi.
Scott's on the road so I dont have his cable and DVR to use (bummer). I watch Gossip Girls on Mondays. I love that show.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!! I'm hooked. It's awesome.
That's the only summertime show I'm watching, but I also recommend reruns of The Office (duh), 30 Rock, House, Heroes, My Name is Earl, and Family Guy.
Wow, this will keep me busy and on the couch for weeks. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try the ones I haven't already and report back.
I say get a DVR from the cable company! I love mine!
