It's April Fools, and if you didn't know that you need to be more aware of these things people: UNAGI.
Since I'm going to go ahead and assume you knew it was April Fools, I'm not going to post a faux post and hope that you take it to be true. I trust you modern peeps' common sense more than that.
Instead, I'm going to post a few random facts about The Modern Gal and let you all decide whether they're true, false or somewhere in between. Hopefully these will stump even the people who know me personally. I'll let you know if you're right tomorrow, so guess now!
- I got kicked out of Space Camp as a child.
- I've been serenaded by an Elvis impersonator dressed as a whale.
- I read James and the Giant Peach at age four.
- When I first moved to Nashville, I got in a car wreck with Alan Jackson's wife.
- I've visited 75 of Tennessee's 95 counties and 32 U.S. states.
- I've broken two fingers, a toe and my nose ... twice.
- One of my summer jobs as a teen required me to teach cricket (the sport) to little kids.
- I was in The Firm, which was filmed in my hometown of Memphis.
Also, in the spirit of April Fool's, here are two good attempts at faux blog postings today:
- Stuff White People Like bought by Target
- Bravo reveals new reality show to discover new reality show

DANGER!
hahahahaha I just read UNAGI and knew what the video was. I love that one.
Salmon skin roll!
I don't think you got kicked out of space camp. And I'm guessing you didn't read James and the Giant Peach at age four, but since I don't know you in person, these are pretty impossible for me.
GAH! I'm not good at this game. I'm not guilliable, just take people at their word.
I'm going with James and the Giant Peach.
As a modern peep who apparently does not have enough common sense, I'm just going to move along.
Okay, fine. No way you know how to play cricket.
Mickey: I was just teasing. I was on extra-high alert after my boss sent her annual e-mail warning us all not to fall for any pranks that might affect our job ... I've been one of the many gullible plenty of times.
