When I realized my credit card had gone missing somewhere between dinner last night and lunch today, I dumped the contents of my Fossil tote bag out onto the bed. I found the following among the usual purse items:
- One knee-high stocking
- A two-year-old prescription for something I no longer recognize
- Three inoperable pens
- January's issue of Real Simple
- A mini sudoku book with doggie teeth marks on it
- An unopened package of triple-A batteries
Apparently I need to clean out my purse more often. And yes, I'm that weird, but I dare you to tell me the strangest thing hiding at the bottom of YOUR purse.

Actually my purse is little and only holds my wallet, blackberry, lipstick, one pen, and keys if they are fit in exactly right. If there is anything random in there, its microscopic!
A) I seriously want that tote bag. It's sooo cute.
B) My bag is full of work-related detritus... batteries, press releases, pens, notebooks, headphones, granola bars, gloves. you know....
Vanessa, that's quite the concept ... a purse that no random thing can fit in. Hm. Maybe I'll try that.
Noodles, I figured you'd get why I had batteries in my bag.
I only have one pen that doesn't work in my purse, but I do have a glue stick, a battery for a camera I don't own anymore, and a finger puppet in my purse.
Finger puppet? You definitely win.
