The past few days have been another case of life interfering. And because life isn't all blog and games, I want to take this opportunity to stress how delicate life is.
As I'm sure all of you who have turned on a TV or opened a web browser in the past few days are aware, the most deadly wave of tornadoes to hit this country in two decades moved through the South on Tuesday and wreaked havoc -- especially in my home state.
Having seen quite a bit of damage first-hand, the thing that continues to strike me is the arbitrary nature of tornadoes. They can demolish a house and leave the nextdoor neighbor's untouched. They can take the life of a young mother and leave her son with hardly a scratch.
But it's not just tornadoes which make life delicate. It's car wrecks and cancer and everything else.
My point is this: make every day count.

Agreed, life is precious and often taken for granted. I hope your family and friends were spared the destruction from the tornadoes as much as possible.
So true. Love you friend! :)
Fortunately, all my friends and family members are fine after a few close calls.
It shouldn't take something this close to home though to serve as a reminder though.
And love you too, KG! I miss you :-)
