We're all about the age where we've been through a few weddings now and probably have a bridesmaid's dress or two that's a little too formal to really be useful outside of the bridal party. Well, modern gal Angie, on whom the storyline of 27 Dresses is based (seriously, she's been in like a dozen weddings and has like five more this summer and even one this weekend), has a tip:
There's probably no way to salvage this one.
Angie suggests taking the floor-length dresses to the tailor and having it lopped off to tea length and hemmed. The result is a slightly less formal dress which is appropriate for parties and even church, perhaps.

yeah! once I get a few more dollars in my already-depleted bank account I'm going to take Sarah's dress and make it a cocktail one!
