Skirt and the blog formerly known as Sk*rt

Moving to Knoxville introduced me to the publication Skirt Magazine, a monthly tabloid put out by Scripps-Howard that just happens to be aimed at modern gals (and some modern dudes read it too.) And it's awesome. It's distributed in 19 local markets, but you can check it out online here. My favorite feature, by the way, is the "He's so original" feature where a local modern dude dresses up in a skirt. There's something so fulfilling seeing the local TV anchor in a skirt.

There just happened to be a blog/news aggregate aimed at modern gals and known by the very similar name of Sk*rt, although completely unrelated to the magazine. I imagine Skirt Magazine got its panties in a wad over a Website with too similar of a name to the mag, so now the website is looking for a new name. Go here to see the options and vote before Friday.
